The agreement, in readable English
Terms & Conditions
By using this site you accept the terms below. They are short, and none of them are surprising. The point of writing them clearly is that you can actually check that.
Effective 20 August 2026
These terms govern your use of thewealthpost.site, operated by The Wealth Post. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple: stop using the site. If you have a question about them, write to alexhales2209405@gmail.com rather than guessing.
1. What this site is
An independent publication about insurance, mortgages, loans, credit cards and debt. It is educational. It is not a financial adviser, an insurance broker, a mortgage broker, a lender, a credit repair organisation, or a law firm, and nothing on it creates a professional or fiduciary relationship between us. The full position is in the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
2. Permitted use of the content
All text, tables, calculators, code, layout and design on this site are our copyright unless stated otherwise. You may:
- Read, print and save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- Quote short extracts. A sentence or two, with clear attribution and a working link back to the page you took them from.
- Link to any page here, from anywhere, without asking.
You may not, without written permission:
- Republish a guide in whole or in substantial part, including in a translated or reworded form that follows the same structure.
- Reproduce our tables, worked examples or calculator logic in a commercial product, newsletter or app.
- Scrape the site systematically, or use its content to train a model, without our written agreement.
- Frame the site, remove attribution or present our content as your own or as endorsed by you.
Permission requests go to alexhales2209405@gmail.com and are usually granted for genuine editorial and academic use.
3. The calculators
The calculators are illustrative models. They run in your browser, they use the assumptions printed beneath each result, and they are deliberately simpler than a lender’s or insurer’s own underwriting arithmetic.
A figure from a calculator here is not a quote, an offer, a pre-approval, or a promise of what any provider will give you. Real pricing depends on credit, property, jurisdiction, underwriting and fees we cannot see. Check any number that matters against the provider’s own disclosure before acting on it.
4. Accuracy, and what to do when we are wrong
We work hard to be accurate and we still get things wrong sometimes. Rates change, products are withdrawn, rules are amended, and typos happen. Content is provided as it stands, without a warranty that it is complete, current or error-free.
If you find an error, tell us: it gets fixed with a published note saying what changed.
5. Advertising and affiliate relationships
The site carries advertising and, in places, affiliate links that may pay us a commission at no cost to you. Advertising does not buy coverage, placement or a favourable conclusion, and no advertiser sees a guide before it publishes. Advertisements are the responsibility of the advertiser, not of us, and their appearance here is not an endorsement.
6. Third-party sites
We link to lenders, insurers, regulators and public data sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products, their terms or their privacy practices. Once you leave here, your relationship is with them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage, including lost savings, lost profit, or a financial decision that turned out badly, arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything published here. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site up but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Pages may be changed, moved or withdrawn without notice. Where a guide is withdrawn because it is no longer accurate, that is a feature rather than a failure.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or its availability; do not introduce malicious code; do not use automated tools to place unreasonable load on it; and do not use the site for anything unlawful.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The updated date at the top of this page shows when, and using the site after that date means the current version applies. Material changes will be described rather than slipped in.
11. Contact
Questions, permission requests and corrections all go to alexhales2209405@gmail.com. The contact page explains what to include and what we cannot help with.
Get in touch
Corrections take priority over everything else in the inbox. If a figure on this site is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed with a note saying what changed.
